It looks like it could be in that image, although small largemouth bass tend to have narrowerr bodies, but if you go to flickr and look at the next image in the series, it has the form of a large member of the minnow family, like a common carp or something similar. I don't see any dorsal spines in the other image.

This wild Eastern Water Dragon at the Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane was quite chilled out and didn't mind me grabbing 4 quick, successive frames, with the AF Point manually placed on the eye, nose, spines and ear to increase the DOF.

PS CC Align then Blend, stacked the final image. :-)
