Aptly named photo.

I'm curious what the roof material is.
Massive shingles but assume timber. Not sure if that roof would hold that much stone
They must have come from a huge tree if timber.

Thanks, no idea about the roofing material other than I've seen similar used on other houses in the north of England so I assume common practice locally. I'll revisit when I get the time, I'm expecting one of two things. most likely the house is in an even worse state after another 5 harsh winters. Less likely but possible, someone has bought the remains and rebuilt it.
