Cerro Castellan is a peak in the western portion of Big Bend National Park. There was a 27% waxing crescent moon illuminating the landscape. This is a stack of 7 20-second exposure photos using Sequator to remove the noise in the sky. I also used the foreground from one of the 7 photos as the stacked version didn't look right and I couldn't get it worked out in either LR or PS.
Edited to add that Big Bend NP is, according to the National Park Service, the darkest place in the lower 48 states. In 2012, Big Bend National Park was awarded International Dark Sky Park status by the International Dark-Sky Association.
