Thanks Mike, Junior's loud, insistent vocalisations for food were what alerted me to the presence of the family on the telegraph pole wires outside our study. :-)

It was a bit awkward leaning out of the window and the show only lasted a minute or two before they departed, confirming that you have to take note of any opportunity as soon as you become aware of these fleeting moments.

Cheers

Dennis

On man, Richard...what a nicely composed photo of the Grey Fantail! The lichen covered wood, The red flower, the great background, and the sharpness of the bird, all go together to make a really appealing shot. Excellent work!

Truly a gorgeous shot, Ulrike! This beautifully colored Azure Kingfisher really makes your photo pop!

Gluttony in the first degree, Ray! I gotta kick out of this shot! Very nice work!

Gorgeous capture, SYS! But it's not fair.:-( You have all that wonderful snow to enhance your terrific photographs. And I ain't got any.:lol:

Holy smokes, Ted...what beauties these two Cardinal shot are! My favorite is the first shot.

What uniquely appealing shot this is, Steve! Your Northern Hawk-owls are amazing looking raptors. I can definitely see some similarities that come from both hawks and owls. Your capture is really outstanding! The setting is so nice.

Lovely, colorful shots of these two budgies, Gerd!

Many thanks Mike. It would be impossible for me not to take time to photograph cardinals.
