We used to live there. We have friends that live under the departure path (Point Loma). They can tell what kind of plane it is just by the sound it makes.

They each sound a bit different for sure. I'm sure they can tell what the Navy is flying on a given day, too

It's interesting. People come from all around the world to see Cradle Mt. They get to Sheffield and see Mt Roland and ask if that's Cradle Mt, so impressed they are with it.
John I will have you know I'm of Singaporian descent - not sure what they are in real life

So you would recognise the names of Sembawang Hills, where I used to live, Nee Soon the rifle ranges and the Mandi then mate? OOOOOh and sorry to have mixed you up with the Pohms
