Thanks Richard. The City of London is about 30 miles to our back, although we are greeted by the air pollution of the suburbs well before that. We are actually looking toward the Thames estuary - about 20-30 miles ahead - wherever you like to define it. It was a bright misty day with loads of haze - I should have taken more time with that picture - I nearly didn’t process it. But the picture was taken through the old Victorian rail pier - the Victorians used to come down for a day out.:-)

River Medway near Rochester. UK.

Group of Thames Barges and 'Watercourse' - a water carrier.
The white-looking block of flats in the river under the tall crane is a floating accommodation block - destined - I believe for other things - not sure what? I did not like to offer a suggestion!-?:-)
