Initially, we were trying to photograph the swallows in flight and then realised they were feeding in the branches. As the parents came back to feed, the birds in the branches would start screeching and flapping their wings. Once we worked out what to look for, it made it a whole lot easier to be ready to shoot them as they flew in to pass on the food. Great “action” shot.
