They're more colorful in summer, but this one was quite nice for a winter bird. I think the snow helps too.

Just going through my Canada shots again, I know technically this isn't a brilliant shot but I just really like it taken at Long Beach on Vancouver Island - feel free to critique it as you see fit, always here to learn ;-)a

Got this shot at the North island wildlife recovery centre - this one had been hit by a car but now has the best life xx

Through two layers of mesh fencing I think the lens / R3 handled it really well - darkened the background just to hide the fencing behind.
