I have experienced that as well. We'd taken a trip on the backside of CA early spring. The clouds were really pretty and the temp was hovering just above freezing. Waited for the sunset and the moment the sun dropped behind the mountains the temp went from 33F/0C to 20F/-6C in 20 minutes. Brrrrrr...

Yes. I'd been watching the parrots (larger birds) feeding when they literally flew off into the sunset. Thought I'd grab a shot to see how it turned out. The other birds were a bonus I discovered later
