Beautiful shot!

Thank you sogs!

What a nice capture, Mark! I normally see quite a few of them in the grasslands of the Los Banos area, but not much this winter (so far anyway).

Thank you Mike! Lucky you, we don't have many up this way. They're one of my favorites!

Both of these shots are really great Richard. I'm just razzing you, of course. You can post all you want. I may be forced to tease though. It's just in my nature.;-)a:lol:

Very sharp, colorful shot of the coot, fotoi!

These are both excellent shots, BioSci! I think the snow settings are really nice.

I really like this shot of the Cedar Waxwing, sogs. It stands out beautifully from the background and my eyes are drawn right to the bird.

Yup...me too, Steve!

Terrific captures of these little guys, Jonathan!

What a nice capture, Mark! I normally see quite a few of them in the grasslands of the Los Banos area, but not much this winter (so far anyway).

Thank you.

Two terrific shots of the Horned Lark EB! They really are a cool looking bird.

many thanks Mike. All good fun  . I knew you were razzing, and feel free to tease away

But as mentioned I do prefer a perched shot as opposed to a ground one for these, so this afternoon we setup a special photo shoot in the studio and I was very pleased with the outcome. Obliging little beauties
These are virtually straight out of the camera with a tad of curve adjustment for brightness and De Noise for noise. Not sure there was any in the original
