Very colorful. Scrolling down (before seeing the plant) I was wondering what the heck it was eating. Nice one.

Nice shots of the Red Shouldered Hawk!

Thank you! Those were all taken at my house last year. We were lucky enough to have 4 of them hanging around every day for a month or so. It was a lot of fun.

This is my favorite of this sequence. Although you can't see the bird so well, his look from behind the foliage engages the viewer more. Very nice.

Thank you! The look was why I decided to post that one. I have MANY more shots. At the time, that bird, along with another Hawk were in an oak tree in my front yard. I was able to walk all the way around the tree. It was great!

I spotted this urban osprey, and if you don't know it, they are usually very particular about their space. Apparently, I got too close, and it took off. I saw it down the street on another light pole but I just kept riding past it so it could eat in peace.

Nice captures! You did the right thing.

Beautiful close-up of the Hawk!

Excellent shot of the heron!

Wonderful captures!
