I have watched so many reviews and videos on it...I am looking forward to seeing how it does. I go to Portugal in March and really want to be able to use it for several different things while I am there.

I have the xperia 1m3 and I am satisfied with it, but not too impressed. I feel like it underperforms from what they claim. When it comes to pictures, I prefer samsung. I love the display, 4k 120hz. but the size ratio is something I don't like. most videos would give you black borders on the sides so the video will be smaller. not alot of movies/videos are in the wide ratio.

it's like the only phone left that still offers earphone jack and sd card in the usa market :)

oh and I am not a fan of curve edge phones.

it was an easy pick for me when getting the sony over others. flat screen, 4k oled, earphone jack, Ldac, sd card slot.

Off subject.

Anyone have any preference or comment regarding Luminosity mask TK 8 or Panel Pro?????

I am piss poor at learning photo shop but played with a few free versions of TK and liked what it could do for me.

thanks

From what I have read the camera on the i IV is improved and in real world tests against the S22 it did better in some conditions and worse in others...I want it more for true B Roll...video from my S20 is not great.

that headphone jack and SD card slot were the top reasons why I looked at it...my car does not support bluetooth audio, I have been using a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the AUX port but it is a PITA...so a headphone port for that, my good headphones, and an external mic were big selling points for me...the SD card has always been a favorite, not sure why they don't want to include them anymore other than to force you to buy the bigger capacity device.

I have used pretty much all of the luminosity masking panels, Ray Pro, TK, and the one from Greg Benz...can't remember the name all of a sudden, I like it the most but have not had any of them installed or used in a couple years. I just don't find the need. The new masking in LR is so dang good, and we have so much latitude with these files.

While I think I would enjoy exploring Japan...there are certain aspects of foreign travel that I struggle with...mainly food...even my upcoming trip to Portugal, the only thing that gives me pause is food and my limited/restricted food list...I am not adventurous in the least.

Have fun on your trip, take cool photos, because Japan has some really cool stuff.

Tbh I’m actually very selective with me food too :p my diet pretty much consists of steak, burger and pizza so no matter where we go that’s the type of food I seek out!

Thanks I will and been stressing about which gear to take, feels like forever since I travelled

Haha sounds like a plan and remember we aren’t fussy eaters, we just have selective taste with high standards ;-)a
