You don't see one for ages then you see 2 in a week.
A little more retiring than the one I photographed last week but I managed this one almost decent shot.

Others share stunning portraits of Eurasian Jays, with beautiful bokeh in the background etc.
I prefer to show the kind of view most commonly seen by the average birder... :)
So here's a Jay thinking he can hide from me, but failing, due to my awesome Jay stalking skills! Lovely tufts!

Warning! I think the Nuthatch is becoming my favourite songbird, and the location I was shooting at today was full of them. 7, on 3 different trees within yards of where I stood at one point.
So, back to the warning... Here are lots of Nuthatch photographs! Consider yourself warned.
