Taken off the coast of Yorkshire near RSPB Bempton Cliffs Very nice capture, Asbach! Excellent work! What a great shot, Steve! Such a lifelike image. I love the hawk's pose with it's mouth open. Very appealing capture. It's such a stunning capture. Both of these are wonderful captures, Pajak! Truly amazing! The hen pheasant must be a bit flustered by all the yellowhammers flying just over the top of her. Many thanks, Paul. They are indeed fast moving. My acceptable number of keepers is embarrassingly low. Lester Wareham wrote in post #19477171 ![]() Impressive capture, detail and light are lovely. A Red-Tailed would have a well defined belly band and dark patagials (leading edge of underwing). If YOU like the photo, that's all that matters!

Photographed at Fernhill Wetlands, Oregon in February 2017. The conditions were bad, and the image was very noisy, so I tried to clean it up the best I could. Canon 7D Mark II, 500/4 II + 1.4X. Very nice - looks like it is going to be a hard landing, or is the stump just in the line of sight?
