Thanks, yes, not too bad considering it was shot through double glazing that could do with a clean!

I bought the 90D to upgrade my 80D (which replaced a 650D which didn't do the 100 - 400 justice) as I do quite a bit of bird photography. The 80D is used now as my walkabout camera and for landscapes but I suppose I should use the 90D for the latter as well.

Another moon pic with the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM + 1.4x TC. This was handheld in our front yard, a testament to the IS of this lens as I have essential tremors so my hands are not real steady.

If you have a stability problem, then perhaps for still subjects like the moon it might be advantageous for you to use a series of shorter exposures and stack them in software that aligns the images before combining them.

With the 90D, you are probably looking through the viewfinder and are using a fast-rolling mechanical shutter, which is good. In live view or with mirror-less cameras, full e-shutter should be avoided for stacking because it can capture frames that have horizontal shearing, and vertical compression and expansion that makes simple alignment impossible, with such a high magnification, especially if you have tremors.

I've always felt i shouldn't mess with removing things from photos when processing but the bathroom building in this photo was ruining the wildness of it I felt. We will see who all can pick it out, I'm sorta happy with the results ha.

Not nearly as good as a stacked image, but I'm pretty happy with it for a single exposure.

Took this pic this AM a little over a mile from our house. At one point, there were four Bald Eagles flying around.
