After a good conversation here on the RF800 I took my RF600 out to the local pond for a half hour. I had used my 150-600C at another pond this morning, to me the RF600 is sharper at 600mm than the Sigma.
I did some goose portraits and then was watching a pair of Merganzers when they took off so I was able to track them easily. They got so close that I could only get a couple shots that had them both in the FOV. the 800 would not have gotten even these two aerials.. The seagull once I found him in the EVF I was able to track. I think I am going to stick with the RF600 afterall.
