My local camera store near Seattle (Kenmore Camera; http://www.kcamera.com (external link)) shows the R6 Mark II body in stock. They also have the R6 Mark II with the RF 24-105 STM lens. You can order online, and they will ship to you.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

I’ve been away quite a while due to illness and during this time I sold ALL my Canon gear, then against a lot of odds I’m getting better. So I’ve decided to buy some Canon gear again ( no primes though) I loved my R5 and regret selling it but that’s history, I’m really interested in the R6 II, is the tracking as good as the R5’s? Does it track bird eye?
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

The R6II AF is as good as the R5 if not better. It has eye AF and the categories like animals, people and vehicles. The Detail Sets are more advanced which offer more options when using a BBF. Reports here and other sites on good low light AF acquisition.

These are unprocessed screen shots. Which eye would you like? :-) I'll post some BIF later.

Pretty stoked to join this thread, and to finally have cats for testing out new camera gear!

Basically pulled the new camera out of the box, set it to RAW, Servo, and Av, and let the camera do the rest. Auto WB is a bit off to my eye, but that's something I never use on auto anyway- ISO 4000 looks great, though, and Auto-subject eye AF immediately nailed it:
