All the world's indeed a stage and we are merely players performers and portrayers.

Had to send my beloved Sheila over the bridge back in September. A friend of mine took this pic of us together on her last day. She came into my life when she was six weeks old and passed just two days shy of her 16th birthday. Broke my heart letting her go, she had a few good hours everyday but was in pain, suffered seizures, and had gotten to the point where she could no longer negotiate stairs.

I realized I was trying to keep her going for me, but that wasn’t fair to her and it was time. Visiting Vet came to our home and she drifted off in my arms.
