Frantically tried a variety of hand-helds with both R's, manual and autofocus, while it was still visible.

Already having the R5 and R7, I added the R10 to have a light body when I don't feel like carrying the weight of the other two. The R10 with the RF100-400 lens is actually quite good for bird photography. I also find the animal eye auto focus works very well on the R10. Here is a shot taken with the above combo.
