Couldn't believe the size of fish this 7 month old Juvenile Black Necked Stork aka Jabiru got. It was bloody huge!!. Hes beating mum and dad now in the fish catching stakes and I reckon will only get better as time goes on :)...Although this will be a hard act to follow for him but you never know....maybe a huge turtle next :).

And today finally got the adult Jacana minding her/his? eggs . Each time I check the adult flies away so as to distract me away from the nest. This time I stayed back a fair way and waited for him to land back on the eggs ....Huge crop with atmospherics wreaking havoc on the af but worth a post I recon as its rarely seen adult on or standing over the actual nest eggs
