Weeds are seasonal? That's news to me. I have weeds growing between the weeds. Timphoto Creme de la Curmudgeon More info Post edited 6 months ago by Timphoto. | Okay, technically it is Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense) - an invasive perennial that comes back up every spring. It grows 3 feet or more tall, has a big seed head that propagates more grass the next spring. Most farmers will tell you it is a weed and treat it as such. Most folks around here consider it a fire hazard in the fall when it dries up.
