had a hours play yesterday with a friends OM1 and my 100-400 lens . quiet a nice camera and a lot lighter than the M1X but im not rushing out to buy one .. the faster focussing and slightly better sensor does not equate to what I would have to pay in price differential which is around £1500 u.k pounds .. if I was moving up from a mk1 or mkii maybe even the mkiii it might be worthwhile .. but any improvements over the E-M1X are marginal .. I will probably get one in the future but not till iv'e got the spare cash to waste . might even hold back to see if theres a OM2 coming out

A rather worse for wear fence protecting a paddock of squash, which I thought would have been harvested by now. Lots of pukeko there too - I don't know whether they eat the squash, or perhaps insects.

Some people hate them - I think they destroy gardens maybe. They were a threatened species when I was a child I think, but are everywhere now.

Apparently they eat almost anything, are predominantly vegetarian, but eat eggs and small birds and mammals .......
