The planet Venus is currently close to the star cluster M45, also known as the Pleiades or "Seven Sisters", in the evening sky. Here is a wide-angle view of them setting behind Brisbane's Story Bridge last night.

To capture the view, I first took an image of the sky using a 2 second exposure my Canon EOS R and a 35mm lens @ f/6.3 and 800 iso. Immediately after this, and without moving the tripod, I took a long exposure high dynamic range image of the foreground (which combined exposures of 2, 4, 8, 16 and 30 seconds at f/11 and 100 iso) to better capture the city lights and reflections. These two images were then combined as layers.
