Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Glass. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us Glass

Here are the rules:
1. Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.

2. Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
3. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
4. Post your shots at any time during the week.
5. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them) but keep within POTN rules.
As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

My favorite shape of glass...I know it isn't very creative but it has a very nice finish. :-D

That first shot is striking, with the various reflections you caught. Apart from photography, the building looks scarily unstable. I have to suppose all its parts are firmly attached.

Thank you. It is certainly one of the more odd building here. We are seeing a lot of different architecture here. Every body wants to make a statement of some sort I guess.

.
I tend not to photograph manmade things, so I had to get a little interpretive with this week's theme.

With no wind and no ducks to stir up the water, the surface was like glass when I photographed this Green Frog on her log. . I also worried about stepping on shards of glass as I took off my shoes and socks to wade out toward the log for a better perspective. . Fortunately, this vernal pool is pretty much free of such litter.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Sorry to have missed this one - just checked in. But this past week was definitely the Week of Glass:
