Here is my first milky way effort of the year. I got a Stonehenge milky way shot last year but was keen to go back and improve on my previous efforts, especially now I have the MSM star tracker. I did all the planning and was fully committed even though it was a Wednesday night and work the next day. After being there a while I couldn't even see the milky way, with the naked eye or from test shots. After a while I noticed it on some pictures but realised how faint it was due to the light pollution (from Salisbury) in the background. Still I like the angle I took the stones from so I stayed for the best part of two hours before going home a bit deflated. I wasn't even going to bother processing it but after speaking with a couple of people (including Lee) I decided to spend a bit of time on it. Not gonna lie, it took me ages to blend the two images together and work the faint bit of detail that was in the milky way. Happy with the end result and I actually like the backlighting now, but definitely still room for improvement! Hope you all like it!

I hope it's insured.
