I think, maybe, in the Memphis Belle movie the bomber was landing with damaged wheels and the ball gunner was stuck in the ball. Problem!!

Where is this and do you know its N number? The only Cats I've seen are in museums or aren't anywhere near flying condition.

That plane was at the Fantasy Of Flight museum back in 2013. Sorry, no N number. They claim that every aircraft on the property that isn't in a shop is mechanically air worthy and Kermit or someone flies them at some point every year.


This plane was at the Sun-n-Fun airshow last month. It looks very clean and flies well. The same plane, restored? I don't know.
