The red-tailed hawk is banded and has been hanging out in the local park. I believe it has a nest in there somewhere.

Made me think - imagine if every time you left the house that there was a fairly high probability that you would get eaten.

After over 3 weeks, the yellow-rumped and palm warblers have started clearing out on their trek further north.

The second wave of warblers should already be here in good numbers but are only trickling in.
