Not much weather in TX. Sunny in the morning, sunny in the afternoon, and dark at night. Tomorrow they are once again promising excitement but last weeks excitement was a bust. They were promising 3+ inches of rain, we got .01.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Of course, I'm not really complaining, my in-laws down in Waco got hammered with huge hail. Totalled both their cars and trashed their roof.

I think we've been in a drought for a couple years now. It looks like it's going to continue this year. We start out well, but then it just dries up.

I did find my watch, though. Thankfully it wasn't in the kitty box.

So very sorry to hear about the inlaws getting both cars totaled. The roof of their home got trashed? Damn!

That's not good. I've seen good, and that's not it.

Cardinals are aggressive. My feeders have attracted a handful of them, which is cool, but when they want to eat, they eat. If there are other birds on the feeders, the cardinals can be (more than a bit) aggressive in taking over the feeders. I also need new feeders. Bigger is always better, a couple of mine are older and pretty abused the weather and by the birds. But I'm thinking that if I go bigger, it creates more room and maybe the cards will not be able to own them.

Weather update, nice weather. Sun, 70's and 80's for highs, with some smoky haze from the fires in Canada again floating down our way. About 5 years ago, it was really bad. It was filtering out the sun, creating a hazy orange ball in the sky. I got some decent images, but so far cannot find them on my back-ups. Maybe one day.

We get a lot of humming birds. Those guys are just plain mean. Sort of the Chihuahua of the bird world.

So which one did you decide on? Or are you still in the kitchen, swaying from side to side as you stare alternately at different cabinet doors?

I haven't tried either product. Americans eat too much highly processed "food." That stuff makes for poor health in the long run.

Ok, that's fair. Since my keto adventure in 2019 where I lost 100lbs. I've not gone back to eating sugar. Sure somehow I've managed to put most of the weight back on, with no sugar. If I had a choice between the two though, I would choo choo choose Toaster Strudel for the win.

TS is too messy. I preferred Pop Tarts™ since they are neater to eat and you can eat them while driving. Had to be frosted though, otherwise it was like biting into cardboard. Or... That could just be me.

I believe Pop Tarts are cardboard that is just sugar coated. Seriously, why do you think cardboard is so highly prized as a recyclable? The Pop Tart people have to get their materials from somewhere.

Sure is quiet in here. I guess strudel and pop tart talk scared everyone away. I can see that, they are quite frightening after all.
