Terrific capture of the Little Blue Heron, Kirk! I like his slightly bug-eyed look that you get from a frontal shot.

Very nice, Randy. They are staying high above me right now. Ready for more dragonfly population to show so they will come lower.

You're knocking these out of the park Bill!

Thanks, I got tired of shooting. Never had a pair more cooperative.

Terrific shot of the pair of Puffins, reggie! Very appealing capture!

Very nice capture of the Great Crested Flycatcher, Paul!

Fantasstic close-up shot of this Ruffed Grouse, Shortaction!

You got amazingly close to these two Ospreys, Ed. Definitely a wonderful capture!

These two shots are super, Richard! their iridescent blue tail feathers definitely show the brilliance you are speaking of.

Like you mentioned, Richard, the female is truly "beautiful in her own right." Your photo of her is most definitely a lovely capture!

Beautiful capture of the drake Wood Duck, fotoi! Amazing color in this shot.

Very nice...I really like this shot of the black-naped tern, and it's two chicks! cancan7

Super nice capture of the American Robin, Shortaction!

Sweet capture of the Roseate Spoonbill, Kirk! I like the water droplets coming off the end of his bill.

This lovely lighting on the Great Blue Heron makes for an outstanding shot, Kirk!

Many thanks LD.

Thanks for your kind comments :-)

I know what you mean, I have been there, done that before.
I've seen as many as 50 that never seemed to ever come down to Earth. :)
This was one of two that are nesting in my neighbor's oak tree, even then it's hard to find them in the right light to get a decent shot.
Good luck on yours! :)
