Thanks, and my apologies to you and anyone that commented on it in any way. When I looked at it this morning it appeared to be too dark, so I deleted it, tweaked it a little, and reposted it.

These two shots are super, Richard! their iridescent blue tail feathers definitely show the brilliance you are speaking of.

Like you mentioned, Richard, the female is truly "beautiful in her own right." Your photo of her is most definitely a lovely capture!

Sweet capture of the Roseate Spoonbill, Kirk! I like the water droplets coming off the end of his bill.

That happens! "deleted it" - what is it? The post? You can just Edit the post and replace the photo.
