Yellow bellied woodpecker posing.

I knew I should have stayed away from the local Pawn shop yesterday. Now got a new play toy lens to sort out. Walked in and their set this cute little (or big) Sigma 150-500 that had my name on it.

Beautifully captured American Dipper shot, Kevin! Very sharp, image.

Maybe too sharp, I'm still wresting with the changes to the topaz suite.

Dippers are my fallback subject. On days when the eagles, osprey, and heron don't come out to play the dippers and God forbid ducks keep me from coming home empty handed.

I too am not sure how happy I am with the most recent updates of topaz sharpen AI. I try to stick with Topaz DeNoise. It usually sharpens just enough, and if I need more, I'll often do it in Lightroom.

I'm using the photo AI more than anything else. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks they intentionally tanked sharpen and denoise so they could integrate the functions into the new program. Usually it doesn't oversharpen but this last dipper was borderline oversharpened.

That happens! "deleted it" - what is it? The post? You can just Edit the post and replace the photo.

The new photo looks great.

I tried that but it said I had to delete the photo from my gallery first, and when I did the whole post disappeared. That never happened before. Anyways, that's why I started a new one. And thanks!
