Clearly, using two legs is too much effort!

Age is a state of mind, and I don't.

Doesn’t get much better for me than seeing birds like these on poles in our fields.

Two pairs of swifts have taken to nest boxes same as last year and there is another pair looking hard for a nest site, although they are ignoring the other four empty boxes at the moment. Spending far too much time trying for these.....

Thanks Patrick, vice like grip does the job as long as there's nothing in the way. This eel was caught originally along with a stick which stopped the heron gripping as tight as he might have and just as the heron made it to the island with his catch the eel broke free. Before it hit the floor the heron had ejected the stick and stooped to catch the slippery eel. He didn't let go again!

Thanks, it's good to see those 'traditional' birds.

I've had to become quit fast at selecting/deleting:lol:

That's the thing I need to get better at, it used to be much easier when I had the old 7DII, most of the shots were out of focus anyway!!

Thanks, I think so, an oyster would have been better :p.
