What does that mean? What is everything else?

Garbage, cans, anything they can fit in their little goat mouths. I'm rural, but I'm not that rural. They frown on goats in my neighborhood. Today will be "mow" day. It's close enough to the weekend for me.

And sadly, RIP Tina Turner

For some reason I though it was Saturday. Imagine the horror.

Yea, but it's the day before a holiday weekend. Most are gone.

These holiday weekends tend to stretch into holiday weeks.

Co-workers gone. I never take vacations during the holidays as most of my co-workers do. Work is so much easier with everyone else not around. :)

That sucks then. Here, many took today off as well, especially managers and sr. managers. Even though I work remote most days, like today, glancing at my MS Teams chat window shows that over 50% of the folks are not online = gone. Very quiet day. Mostly scanning old negatives today. Working on xmas 1965 right now. They were stored in my dad's basement so they are in pretty ssd shape, but I soaked them in some magic juice (Filmguard) and they re-hydrated pretty nicely. Scans coming out looking good after some restoration.

On the bright side, at least you're getting some productive work done. Scanning those old negatives sounds like a nostalgic and interesting task. You're even diving into Christmas 1965, which must bring back some memories. It's cool that you're taking the time to restore and revive those precious moments captured on film.

I have to give you credit for your resourcefulness too. Soaking those old negatives in some "magic juice" (Filmguard) and watching them come back to life is pretty satisfying, I bet. And the fact that the scans are turning out well after some restoration work shows your dedication to preserving those memories.

Sure, it may be a quiet and uneventful day, but at least you're making the most of it!!! So keep up the good work, enjoy the trip down memory lane, and make those scans shine! Who knows, you might even uncover some hidden gems from Christmas 1965))
