Holy tourist trap pricing in Myrtle Beach. Went to Auntie Anne's the pretzel chain. For 5 pretzel bite cups and 4 lemonades it was $68. Usually they do"fresh squeezed" lemonade, this was minute maid 100%. Paid $164 to go to the alligator park for the 5 of us. Unfortunately as it got to 92 degrees and not much shade my 8 year old gave up in 15 minutes. We tried getting a beverage, so a $5 Cup of pop, no cover, or straws available. Holy hell.

Either I or you guys have been in magic mushroom territory since "safe travel" set this off! All I can say is that the Moules et Frites in Brussels were great. Off again on the road at 04.00 tomorrow!

Fixed it for you. Fritos are so tasty especially with mushrooms. Brussels sprouts, not so much.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

One gene is responsible for reactions to Brussels sprouts. (external link) I recently discovered that I like the sprouts microwaved. They're so dense that they cook more easily if cut in quarters lengthwise than if whole. Put a little more water in the container than you would with other veggies. For a cup or less of them, try 3 1/2 minutes at full power to start.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa | Comments welcome

I don't mind sprouts when they are roasted with butter especially if they are the smaller ones.

Definitely the smaller ones! I look for the smallest ones in the bin. They seem fresher.

Another Air Quality Alert until 10pm, thank you Canada! The haze is going to keep the temps below 90 tho.

Does this mean you can't go outside and mow?

In a non smoking condo on the beach and the neighbors to the side and just below seem to smoke all the time. What's worse is they are constantly smoking weed as well. Really running the beach experience to have to keep the sliding balcony doors shut. And the wind is always blowing it the same direction, which of course is my direction.

Not a problem. It hasn't rained so the grass doesn't need to be mowed yet.

That is sweet! And looks awesome as well. And only 3999.99. I should get two, one for the front, one for the back. It got 4 stars, so you know it's good.

Isn't Myrtle Beach a military town? I think I had a friend who was a Ranger stationed there. Weed can't be legal. I'd drop an anonymous note into the office, in case the offender is a Ranger.

Not a fan of brussel sprouts. Broccoli, yes. And Fritos of course. Oh, and a no on mushrooms. I can't eat fungi.
