Is Robamy the only person on the planet to actually own an RF 100-300 f 2.8L ? I don't recall seeing pictures from anyone else except those with access to Canon. It's a long time since May 31st when they were supposed to start shipping. My patience is stretched rather thin by now.

Ha Ha I know of a couple out there besides me. There are a few places that have stock currently. I personally dealt with Hunt's no issues buying from them.

The Canon store also has been getting stock here and there.

There is a used one on Fred Miranda right now from Ben who I dealt with a few times without issues.

Sadly the USA is the other side of the Atlantic from me. I have heard of more than one occasion when people from the UK have ordered from the USA and gone over to collect whilst also having a holiday paid for from the money they saved. Do I sound at all cynical and frustrated ?? Two Teas

Requested a loan from CPS, my reaponse:
"Sorry that lens is not available for the date given. There is a very extensive wait time for that item due to the very limited amount we have in our loan pool and our current demand"

Just came back from a trip to Canada to photograph Puffins. This lens was just about perfect for this area. I used everything from the bare lens up to 600mm. The lens performed flawless. I had my 400mm also but I used this far more due to the versatility.
