Thank you, Kirk! I started to process the subject and the baсkground in ACR separately. I think different settings for contrast and clarity create the effect that you mentioned.

Suffering for your art! But the beautiful picture will (probably) outlast the sore body parts.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.
