I have a few more from this little series - I have been thinking about posting them for sometime - I remember taking them. It was about that time I changed my Leica IIIB for the M3. Surely I can't be that old? ![]() I know the feeling, I took my first photographs in the 1960s with my first camera, a very well used Bencini comet! I always wanted a Leica, I have the Q2 monochrom now which I really like but I'm put off buying a new M due to all the problems reported by unhappy owners and long repair times quoted (6 months isn't unusual) so I'll stick with Canon for now.

Interesting camera - I have just read up on the Q2 monochrom. I'd like to try one for a bit of street photography and nostalgia's sake. I am aware there are quite a few problems with the new Leica and it is a bit off-putting to say the least for a camera that costs over twice what my first house cost. Ray-P

Real life at that time, Rosey - after all, it was in the late 1950s and life was a bit less complicated than it is today. Thanks for commenting - it makes me feel like I captured a moment in time!
