Woke up early to get to this location before sunrise and hopefully beat the crowds I've seen around Iceland. It was a wondrous experience as my wife and I had the place all to ourselves and could just sit and take in the scene. This is called Bruarfoss.

The colour of the car is a perfect match for the whites of the clothes and the dark of their skin. Just lovely.

The family and I were in Capital Reef Nat'l Park in Utah for the annular eclipse. The predicted crowds and insanity (thankfully) never materialized. It turned out to be a much more relaxed experience vs. the NE/WY locations for the total solar eclipse. At the start of the eclipse we had zero problems finding a place to view the eclipse right outside the main entrance and visitor center. We made our way immediately afterward to the Gifford house for pie before they sold out! If you've been there, you know. :-)

We had over 4 minutes of totality, but taking a slightly different approach to presenting images. The first image is the just a few seconds before totality, and the second is the moment of totality. Even for this event the shape and topography of the moon creates some interesting effects.

Grand Junction (Colorado) Airshow Oct 15 2023. The Book Cliffs, Mt Garfield, and Grand Mesa provide an amazing backdrop for an airshow.

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a brand new EOS R6. However, I noticed that the “SET” button appears to be tilted after rotating the back dial clockwise. Interestingly, I can level the “SET” button again by rotating the back dial anti-clockwise.

I’ve owned three Canon DSLRs before, and none of them exhibited this behavior. Is this a normal feature for the Canon EOS R6, or is my “SET” button defective?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have an R6II. When I rotate the dial, the SET button will 'nod' in the same direction, but it doesn't stay tilted. I bought the camera about 7 mo. ago... I am not going to worry about it, my 5DIII does the same thing and I 've had it for 10 years. Interestingly, my 13 year old 60D does not 'nod' but the rear dial is a bit different (includes an 8-position 'joystick' dial concentric to the normal dial.
