We almost lost our baby a few weeks ago. She got very sick from a toxin that occurs on bad grain and corn. Luckily it was caught early enough and after a couple of transfusions and a lot of drug therapy, she will see her seventh birthday.

What a shame it would have been to loose such a sweet dog. Labs are always in such a good mood and ready to go play. Mine wears me out playing ball and all I am doing is throwing the ball. She does all the work. Great picture of a beautiful dog. Glad everything worked out okay!

Very nice looking dog. I know exactly how you feel. We almost lost our mini schnauzer a couple of weeks ago. She was eating her treat and then all of a sudden she just fell right over. She was stiff as a board and not moving. We rushed her to the vets and by the time we got there she was able to move her legs. She's fine now, but it was one of the scariest things I'd ever gone through! Glad to hear your girl is ok now!
