I was so excited I had to do a portrait of it.
Now to spend the time to learn how to use it. Doesn't seem too hard so far.

I wanted the best I could afford so I went the 580ex. People by camera equipment based on how it looks? Andrew

I've heard it helps balance the camera better. With my 300D and Flash the worst combination is the 50mm f/1.8. Not a lot of lens to hold onto and the camera wants to rotate forward with the weight of the flash. Even though the EF28-135 is heavier the setup doesn't feel as akward. I didn't want to invest in a battery-grip for my 300D cause I was thinking about getting a 30D in the future. Adding the flash to my set-up may have changed my mind. A hand strap would be a nice add on as well. Andrew
