Even if you just say "come on, or do I have to tell a joke" they will be laughing.

Or make them say something totally out of context, like the name of a well known dish.

Here in Flanders, I can use "stoofvlees". Then I know I have to take a picture when they arrive at the EEE sound... looks like they are smiling.

I recently had a client tell a friend that was being photographed, but wouldn't smile, "say Rhinestone Thong." I actually had to put down the camera because I had to laugh. Needless to say, it became our catch phrase of the shoot.
