Aka My Cousin, comment on the photo if you wish, but i'm more posting for an answer to my question,

- What apeture would you suggest on a uncropped head shot like this for the ears to be sharp aswell, taken with 50mm 1.8 prime.

2.2 works for me typically. It can vary from 2.2 to 2.8 range. Unless they have REALLY LARGE HEADS!
