Got and e-mail from Adorama this morning on the Domke Brick 20:
Regular Low Price: $139.95 One week only $49.95 WOW!!!
Does anyone have experience with this bag? Looks like an awful lot of bag for fifty bucks. For that price might be useful to just to store stuff in.

Guess no one has heard of it.
For fifty bucks I'm going to give it a try. (That's exactly what I need. One more bag to find a place for.)

Had it in my cart. Standard ground shipping $29.95! Balked on principle. Should have been half that. No thanks.

Wow! That surprises me. I've purchased from Adorama before and never saw outrageous shipping charges. Sure you didn't click on overnight? ;) :D

Standard shipping $29.05
2nd Day $99.50
Next day $152.53!

I've gotten quite a few things from Adorama, and their shipping is always higher than B&H, but this I thought was a bit over the top. Maybe it's how they made up for the low sales price. Hope it's not a sign of the future from them.

I ordered one.....even thou I consider the shipping is way out of line. Hope that is not commonplace with them!
OTOH, price shipping on some of those Pelican cases.....both B & H and eBay are way up there...

Denton, you are not alone as one is on the way to my place as well. Might be able to post a few comments once it arrives.

I just bought one too! It looks like a nice big bag that could store all my equipment together in one case instead of many different cases that I have now.
I think the size of the box the bag is in that caused the shipping cost to be high. I checked at B&H and they do not sell this particular bag so I could not compare the shipping cost. Could not find any other retailer that sold this bag either for a comparison shipping cost. I will have to wait and see if this bag fullfills my needs.

Makes you wonder if the original price was ever that high to begin with ;)

It looks sort of like one of the Kata line that Domke OEMed a while back. May be trying a new batch and test-marketed it at Adorama.

Or maybe a close-out of some remaining stock?

Just received it today....had it sent to work so I haven't had a chance to check it out. It is BIG. I figure if nothing else I can store everything in one place at home then go to it to load my backpack, which I love. Deffinately not something for the field! Looks good though.
