That's really great! They look like they will spend many hours taking pictures. How wonderful! I got my 9 year old a 530A. He hasn't done much with it since we've been couch potatoes for a week, but I'm sure he'll start shooting as soon as school starts again. Great gift.

I must have been pretty good over the past year. Santa brought me the following
Adobe. Photoshop "X": Beauty, Glamour and Fashion Photography
A Comprehensive Guide to Digital Glamour Photography
An Illustrated A to Z of Digital Photography: People and Portraits
Successful Glamour Photography: Photography: A Guide to Professional Techniques for Film and Digital Photography,

Sigma DG-500 flash
A Smith Victor 300 lighting kit

Not sure what all I did. I need to find that out so I can do it again this year

My folks gave me an awesome present, the 70-200 F/4L. Very pleased with their choice. :)
Since I work on commission and about 70+ hours a week over the holidays I'm treating myself to a Tamron 28-75 and a new monitor.

I have been buying photography stuff for myself all year and claiming it as "my christmas gifts".

But actual gifts from another person.

My boyfriend got me a Canon Powershot SD600 and a little bag and memory card for it.

Which is a good gift so I can have something in my purse to snap fun shots with my friends on the fly.
