how many of you take ring shots AFTER the wedding?
My next wedding the bride and groom are in seperate places...so, I will have to wait till later to get the shots..
is that ok?

You could always get the ring shot w/the rings on their fingers. *Gear: 5D Mark II, 2 5D's, 30D, 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4, 24mmL 1.4, 45mm TS-E, 16-35mmL 2.8 II, 70-200L 2.8 IS, 100mm 2.8 macro, 15mm 2.8 fisheye, 580EXII, 580EX, 430EX, AB 800, AB Ring flash, lots of PW's, stands, umbrellas, etc.

If they do don't let the rings out of your sight for Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.

More info | Generally, I do do it beforehand, this is the first time the B&G are going to be in different places..so I wanted to ask what was customary or what you do, at our next meeting I will ask them and get their opinion then on what we will do. When I am done shooting the groom and groomsman I ask who has the rings - usually the best man has them. I tell him I would like to have them to take pictures of them.
