I'm just starting to use CS2 and I was wondering if a tablet would be a better choice than a mouse for fine control. Does anyone use one? Can anyone recommend a make/model?

Wouldn't recommend one to a basic photoshop user but further down the line its a cool thing to get Canon EOS 350D, Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6, 24-105 f4L IS, 70-200 f4L, 300 f4L IS, Kenko 1.4x pro300, 430EX, Apple Powerbook G4

It has taken some time to get the hang of using it and I have a lot more to learn. I would recommend getting one. *** The opinion expressed above, spelling, and grammar errors are that of the poster and in no way represent any sane person.****

The tablet area maps to your whole screen, so the larger the tablet the easer it is to be precise Join us in Chicago on April 22nd (Click here for more details)

The smaller tablet (4x6) is easiest to work with. In the software that comes with it, you can fine tune just about everything to your personal needs. Also using the smaller area, you aren't swinging your arm and wrist all over the place. I have mine set up so as to have a minimum of movement. Less fatigue over a long session. Haven't worked with A4 long enough to know if should be included in the 'too large' category or not "I think the idea of art kills creativity" - Douglas Adams
