A few pictures taken at Gigrin farm mid Wales last Thursday and Friday.
All were taken using 1DMK11N,500F/4 and 1.4 Extender.

Superb shots given the conditions. Great to see the kites doing so well. I was at a talk about them given by the RSPB last week. Apparently at one point they were down to 5 breeding pairs in the north west of Wales. Glad they've increased healthily since then. I'm at the tail end of the Chilterns where they've been reintroduced from young birds in Spain. Get to see them quite a bit now, but often too high to photograph properly.
