I missed these when you first posted them. they look very good. i never thought about using anything but a solid color for a background, your background gives me some new ideas. keep them coming!

I'm still to lazy to find a different colored backdrop. I'm venturing into bird photography now.

I posted this story in the Bird section yesterday... but I'll share it here.........

Yesterday I was standing on my deck talking on the phone and I look up and 2 Bald Eagles are soaring towards my house. I throw the phone down and go grab my 30D. Of course it's set up with my 28-135mm IS lens (for our light box stuff). I tear off that lens and I'm shaking nervously trying to put my 70-200mm 2.8 and 1.4x T-con on. Finally, it's locked on... I run out on the deck and I look up... the 2 Bald Eagles are circling over my back yard ( they're probably sizing up my 2 pugs in the dog run ;) )... I aim up ( keeping in mind I had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago and I'm just about to start crying because my shoulder is killing me trying to aim in on these eagles, but this might very well be a once in a lifetime opportunity ) I start snapping shots... one after the other, the Eagle is filling up my view finder, these are gonna be the shots of the year !!! They slowly soar out of shooting range and I admire how these beautiful Eagles are just soaring around my neighborhood.

I walk in the house and push the "Play" button on the back of my camera to admire my work....... "No CF Card".

It's the story of my life. However... I didn't leave empty handed. www.toddstack.com/birds (external link)

But I better go take a picture of something in my lightbox... because it's starting to get off topic. ;)

This just looked like so much fun, that I had to go out and do it myself. $25 later, and i got my own light box.

Here's some of the fun I've had tonight.

Sure thing... I don't have a second camera, so I took this with my webcam (hence the crappy quality). Don't mind the wallpaper. I live in my parents house still and can't afford a painter.
