I have been watching these flower from very small buds. It's taken about two weeks for it to get to this stage. It flowered last night and I noticed it first thing this morning - before the sun was up. By tonight it had wilted. It was about 250mm (10") across the white buds!!

I literally had about two minutes to take these before racing off to work. Still, I'm happy to capture them this time, I missed a previous one about 6-8 weeks ago. Kinda like Little Shop of Horrors.:D

Anyway of showing the scale of the flower?

Thanks for the comments hvman. Next time I'll take one shot with a hand or something in the shot to better give a sense of scale.
