Hi gang. I did a shoot for an alternative weekly newspaper's story about a restaurant fundraiser. Here are the three strongest shots, and I'd like to know which one people prefer. While I'm always open to technical feedback, in this particular case I'm more interested in composition, since it will be printed on newsprint anyway. Which image is most interesting? Which one - if any - makes you want to visit this restaurant? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

2 and 3 are my favorites.

3 is nice because it shows some of the restaurant as well, and it looks really quaint.

#1 seems to be the kind of picture that I see most in articles. #2 & #3 are great also.

Honestly I like all three equally. Nice shots

I think they are all nicely composed and executed, but like #3 best for the ambience.

I'd sure hate to have to eat soup from a square bowl, though!

3 represents the restaurant better but I think 1 is most appealing to me. Only because the angle makes it look less "posed."

#1 is my favorite. Even though #3 shows the ambience, i, personally, dont find it all that interesting. #1 to me shows a classy place with great food. thats just what i see.

I'm going to chime in with #2 & #3 make me want to visit your restaurant more so than the first shot. I'm not finding any real focal point in #1.

If your fundraiser is local to the establishment in the images, personally I'd go with number two to showcase entrees more. If not, #3 helps establish both food and locale.

I like 3 a lot for many reasons and most inviting. 1 is good composition in my opinion. 2 makes me wonder, "what the heck is in that bowl??" and not in a good way! The photo is good, but the soup, I'm not so sure about.

1 looks like it could be the Ritz

3 looks sad and lonely to me, :(, Even the little sunflower is drooping.
2 is a fine example of a standard table layout, all be it cropped ok. 1 is best.

I like No. 2. #1 looks a bit cramped and #3 doesn't attract me to the restaurant. It seems a bit lonely. And the lonesome flower doesn't help either :(.

1 seems busy and cramped. my eyes wont settle on anything and i dont take any of it in.
2 is a lot better but still cramped.
3 is a place i'd love to visit with a loved one.
